The Quarantine Diaries Day 1

Welcome to a new segment called “The Quarantine Diaries”. A virus is running through the United States right now and it is causing mass panic, fear, frustration. All of these feelings are valid. Every person is advised to stay home, stop the spread of this virus, and to stay healthy and safe.

So, I am officially starting my quarantine today.

March 21, 2020.

Both of my jobs closed for this time being. I will be at home for over 30 days.

This should be fun and extremely interesting.

I plan on blogging at least once per day, and I will be posting pictures with my blog posts of what I did that day.

Today I was supposed to go to a baby shower in Bellingham, WA. The plan was to drive up in the morning, celebrate the mama to be, and then drive back to Seattle.

The baby shower was cancelled 2 weeks ago with good reason of course, but I am sad that I didn’t get to see a friend and celebrate her blessing.

I did wake up at 8am this morning though! Which is a win. I did my normal morning routines. I drank some coffee, I journaled and I worked out.

I then played the best game in the world. Animal Crossing. Animal Crossing New Horizons was released yesterday, and I was able to spend a good chunk of time playing.

I was also able to get some homework done, play with Daisy, and talk to my family back home. A lot is going on and I just needed a day to recoup and kind of figure out what my next steps are going to be throughout this quarantine.

I am one of those people who will not be bored. I have a ton of projects I want to do that I never really can find the time to do. I am really excited that I will be able to do that and focus on my homework. I am still graduating in May but there is a good chance that it will be cancelled.

I did not do any projects today, but I plan on creating a plan to finish some of them throughout this period of time. I still plan on waking up early everyday and continuing my routine.

I hope everyone stays home, and stays safe throughout this time.

Thank you for reading, and I will catch you tomorrow.
