Day 28

Aloha kākou!

Today is the 28th day of quarantine and I am kind of getting used to it… kind of. Today is April 17th, and I feel like it is someone’s birthday today but I am not sure whose birthday it is.

Happy birthday whoever’s birthday it is today!

I felt very lazy today. I don’t really want to think very hard today which is kind of funny, but it is true. I have been looking at screens way too much for my liking and I think I am getting pretty unmotivated by it.

I have been working out in the mornings which have been good. Getting back to working out was tough but just sticking to this routine is key for me.

I am ready to go back to work and make money. I don’t want to go back to one of my jobs, but I do want to go back to the other.

I’m ready to make money again, but we will see what will actually happen.

As with my Hawaiian language learning, it is going well! I am just trying to practice as much as I can, and really focusing on learning vocabulary. I am slowly starting to learn how sentence structures are used but I know I have to practice the ones I already know.

I am grateful to be safe and at home during this time. I am so thankful for all of the people that are staying home, and are taking this seriously.

I am so grateful for the grocery store workers, the health care professionals, the bus drivers, the janitors, and the food service providers. I appreciate you all so much.

I hope you are all safe and healthy.

Mahalo,

Haunani
