I think I will make a video going into more detail on how my fitness journey has brought me to this point, but for now, this update will do.
At this time, I would say I am at an average when it comes to my health and fitness.
I am eating more processed and less nutritious foods.
Dark chocolate Oreos with oat milk have been my go to.
I don’t restrict myself, but I just haven’t been eating as much vegetables as I usually do.
I am also only working out really twice a week.
Not great, also not terrible.
Of course right now I do not have a gym membership.
I also just moved so I am settling in to a new routine.
I am trying to write myself a routine that I can follow that is free.
I’m also looking for the perfect running path for me so I can run 3x a week again.
Weight wise: I maintained my weight that I lost from November 2019-March 2020.
However, I did lose a lot of my muscle that I was building. I can see it in my arms and my legs.
Also my face is really bloated and I believe it is from the inadequate amounts of water I have been drinking.
So far this week (starting on Monday), I had one sugary alcoholic beverage.
I have also worked out twice (Monday and Wednesday).
I would say this is a win (so far).
To create and maintain a healthy lifestyle, I must continue to show up everyday and make those small decisions that lead to healthier habits.
It’s really a work in progress but I am getting there.
My goal for the rest of 2020 is to maintain my current weight.
Build muscle, and lose fat.
If the scale moves down more, that would be great.
If it doesn’t, that is also great because I would love to just become stronger.
Another goal, is to continue to feel beautiful and confident in the skin that I am in.
I promise that once pandemic is officially over (2022?? who knows), I will take up boxing.
